The SMFWBC Women’s Ministry will work together to empower and equip women to be the best they can be for JESUS CHRIST. The Holy Scriptures will be the Women’s Ministry Guide.
The Ministry will groom and grow women to be steadfast, unmovable always abounding in GOD’s Will, Word and Way. This will set forth women proclaiming boldly and clearly in their daily lives to always study, encourage and be GODLY examples for younger women and people. The Women’s Ministry will assist and encourage other ministries for the growth of the church.
JESUS CHRIST freely gives everyone what is required to faithfully and fully use GOD’s given gifts to live for him and Glorify Him through his Scriptures.

I Have Come Too Far to Turn Around!
Sometimes in life, we take on ministries feeling like someone else is responsible for the job, and we are to sit back and enjoy the ride. We must consider the fact that we all have “A charge to Keep and a God to Glorify”. The ministry cannot and will not function without all of us. We are one body with members. One thing we must remember, if God leads us to a task, he will see us through no matter what.
The Women’s Ministry is to empower and teach to reach other’s to be the best they can be for God and themselves. Passing the baton is a great way to keep the ministry strong; in this way, the ministry will not die. Participating and inquiring when we do not understand and asking God to order our steps so that, we can make this a successful ministry. While we enjoy this wonderful journey, here in the book of Ruth we see how rewarding the journey can be.
Ruth suffered the same thing as Naomi, the loss of a love one. She could have gone her own way, but she stayed faithful to Naomi and to the “ONLY” God Naomi served.
RUTH EXAMPLE OF STEADFASTNESS
“Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go, I will go, and where you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.” 18 When Naomi realized that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped urging her.
Unity in Christ
A Prayer for Unity
Bless us, Divine Father! Help us find unity with each other, to work together to deliver your word and way for living. Oh Lord, for we know man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of GOD.
As we unite in all goodness, fun and creativity, Bless our Women's Ministry to be a blessing to ourselves, church and the world around us. Bless us to be like Jesus, daily. Oh loving Father, kind, caring, compassionate, loving, give, forgiving and humble. All these blessings in JESUS name, Amen!
