Welcome To the Year 2023!
Isaiah 43:1 – “God Promises to Restore"
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are Mine.

Vocabulary
Year – Shaneh (Hebrew), 365 days as a measure of time as a distinguish between years.
The world finds itself in a different place and space right now because of the passage of time called a year. This brings us to a new season, a new occasion and a new purpose to praise our God. (Psalm 29:1,2). We do not need to make our usual list of Resolutions that will be forgotten before February. But we need to be like our ever stable and dependable God (Deuteronomy 7:9) and do some things that will always benefit Christians and Glorify God.
Three Christian Principles to Practice in the New Year
I. No matter what happens to you – Do not Retaliate – Genesis 27:47
II. Do More Than Is Required – Acts 15:28
III. Always Be Kind and Be Generous – Ephesians 4:32
Conclusion
In the New Year Sunday School members should remember to (1) Reach the Unchurched, (2) Teach the Disciples and (3) Give Glory To God! Praise The Lord!
