A Time For Everything Ecclesiastes 3:1

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

While growing up in the country of North Florida, my grandmother would always remind me that April showers bring May flowers. In other words, Spring is the season of new births and growing things after the Winter Season.

The great and wise King Solomon wrote this verse of Scripture. The point of this verse is that God has a plan for all people, places, and things in this World. It is God, who provides the cycles of life. And each cycle has its own work for us to do. The Spring time is for planting and growing and the Fall time is for gathering, reaping, and storing.

Timing is important. Every experience, Season and Time has an appropriate duration. If we get the timing right, we can become successful in our endeavors. Our God is Perfect! His Timing is accurate every single time. Therefore, we should accept, appreciate and anticipate our Perfect God’s control over all of our affairs, ministries, services, and works. Our God will never lead us astray.

The importance of Time is illustrated and illuminated throughout the Bible. The following will serve as pertinent examples:

(1). There is a shortness of personal life. (Psalm 89.47)

(2). You must make the best use of it. (Ephesians 5:16)

(3). Use Time well for your Salvation. (2 Peter 3:9, 15)

(4). Time is surely uncertain. (Luke 12:16-23)

(5). Make your goal Eternity with God. (Hebrews 11:10, 13-16)

Yes, Timing Really Is Important! Amen.

Conclusion

Now is not the Season nor the Time to doubt God. God has a plan, a purpose, and a will for each one of us. The timing of each one of these is perfectly laid out and should go forward flawlessly if we just do not doubt God. Our God has all Power. And He can do anything but fail. In fact, Without God we can do nothing and in our own strength life’s problems have no permanent or acceptable solutions! Praise God!
