Why Should We as Believers Share Our Faith

We as true Believers in Jesus Christ should always try to share our Faith in Christ with individuals who have not experienced the joy of a new life in Christ. These individuals have not experienced the positive blessings of being Chosen (2 Thessalonians 2:13) by God to be a part of his family. Also, they have not been appointed to salvation and deliverance from their sins and from evil. And, they do not know how to work out their own salvation by reverencing and obeying the Lord. All three of these points are important. And that is why Believers should not hesitate to share their faith.

Listed below are six reasons why we share:

  1. We share because God has commanded us to do it. This is called The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19 – 20)

  2. We share because it shows our Love for God. If we truly love God, we will keep/obey his commandments (John 14:15).

  3. We share because we all were once lost in our sins (Romans 3:10, 23).

  4. We share because like begets like. It takes people to help save other people. Animals and Angels cannot do this (Romans 10:14-17, Acts 8:3).

  5. We share because God does not want anyone to be lost in their sins (2 Peter 3:9).

  6. We share because someone took the time to share their faith with us. We must therefore do unto others as it was done unto us.

Therefore, Go, in the name and power of Jesus and make Disciples everywhere you go!
