The History of the Food and Clothing Ministry
(FCM)
The FCM was founded by Bishop Abe Randall, Pastor Emeritus of Saint Matthews Freewill Baptist Church.
The FCM was organized by Sister Christine Forbes on September 11, 2001. Sister Forbes has since passed on.
Bishop Randall chose six (6) people to implement the FCM:
Sister Christine Forbes, Chairperson
Sister Dorothy Dixon Co-Chair
Sister Jestean Mellerson, Helper
Deacon Grady Dixon, Lead Driver
Deacon Hugh Huster Mellerson, Assistant Driver
Deacon George King, Assistant Driver
GOD has blessed the FCM through the years, causing a need for more helpers. To name a few: Sister Carrenda Hilton, Sister Janie McKnight, Sister Aquillia Carter and Brother Prince McKnight.
The FCM prepare plenty of bags and boxes twice a month. Also clothing. No one is turned away. You can donate clothing to FCM anytime. All clothing benefit those in need.
